This class is a study of the numerous ways to use half square triangles in a quilt. There are just so many designs that can be achieved with this one simple block! You will learn to design a quilt block of your choice, and how to sew it together. We also will cover various ways of making HST blocks. You should have time to make several blocks to get you started on a new quilt.
Class supplies:
- 4 to 8 fat quarters that blend well ( these can be solid or print)
- Sewing machine and extension cord
- 1/4" sewing foot
- Bobbins and thread
- Scissors
- Rotary cutter
- 3" or 4" ruler ( 3 1/2 rulers are available for purchase in the store)
- Marking pencil
- Straight pins ( magic pins are available for purchase and are great for piecing)
- Sack lunch and drink
*Classes may be dropped by students for any reason up to 7 days before class. Less than 7 days before class time, fees are non-refundable.
