Basics of Hand Dyed Fabric

This is a hands on workshop for those who want to learn the art of dyeing fabric with procion dyes. It will cover various techniques for dyeing fabric as well as how to mix colors. By the end of the class, you should have enough knowledge  and inspiration to dye fabric on your own!

Supplies will be provided with the exception of a face mask that you will need to bring. These will only be worn when measuring out dye powder. You will also need to bring your own sack lunch and drink. Wearing old clothing or black clothing is advised in case of spilling dye. This class will be outside on the patio, but we will have a tent for shade.

*Classes may be dropped by students for any reason up to 7 days before class. Less than 7 days before class time, fees are non-refundable.
