Come and learn the magic of string piecing! We will study the many variations of using fabric strips to make quilt blocks.You will be surprised at how fast these blocks come together using paper piecing. You may bring fabric strips, jelly rolls or yardage to cut into strips. Paper for the piecing will be provided and extra will be available in the store for purchase.
Class supplies:
- Fabric strips, jelly roll or yardage to cut strips from. These can be scrappy ( all mixed up colors and prints) or color coordinated
- Sewing machine
- Bobbins and thread
- 1/4 th inch sewing foot
- Glue stick
- Scissors and Rotary cutter
- Straight ruler for cutting strips
- Straight pins
- Sack lunch and drink
*Classes may be dropped by students for any reason up to 7 days before class. Less than 7 days before class time, fees are non-refundable.
